Pastor and Mrs. EnnisOur Pastor is Everton A. Ennis, a native of Jamaica, West Indies. He testifies of receiving God’s call to the gospel ministry on the day of his baptism and entry into the membership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church - March 7, 1987, while standing in the baptismal pool. Three days after being baptized, he began giving Bible studies in his community, eventually leading several other young people to know Jesus and to experience the joy of salvation.

After literally wasting the first two years of his Christian experience in a futile attempt to run away from God’s call to the ministry (like Jonah), he enrolled at Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica to pursue studies in theology. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Theology degree from Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. He then graduated from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, where he earned the Master of Divinity degree. He has been a Pastor in the South Atlantic Conference since January 2002, and is currently a student at Andrews University, where he is reading for the Doctor of Ministry degree in Evangelism and Church Growth, with special emphasis on Church Conflict Resolution.

He is Founder and President of CLASS Act Seminars, a consulting service which works with pastors and churches to offer training in the areas of leadership development, discipleship training, church conflict resolution, church board development and other essential topics impacting on the growth of congregations and the affirmation of the pastoral ministry.

Pastor Ennis is married to the former Ingrid Spence of Trelawny in Jamaica, a graduate of Monroe College in New York City with a Bachelor of Business Management degree. He is an energetic, innovative and visionary servant leader who loves the Lord and the Lord’s Church. An ordained Pastor, he and his wife serve the Americus/Warner Robins district of churches in Georgia. He has a burden for souls and a passion for seeing healthy new churches started in as many places as possible to rapidly spread the Advent message of God’s love and the soon return of Jesus.

Our Pastor possesses a contagious, “can do” spirit concerning the work of God, and lives by his philosophy that: Great things are accomplished, not so much by great men, but by men who take a great God at His word!

His hobbies include meeting people, traveling, writing, reading, surfing the web, and building websites.
